This guide will help you set up Email Capture within preezie, including setting up an automated Results Email and a way to receive Lead Data by email or API integration.

Step 1: Set

Up the Lead Form
In the “Workflows” “Journeys” tab of your preezie portal, click the Actions cog to the left of the journey you wish to edit.

Then select the first option, “Edit”“Journey Settings”

Then navigate to the “Lead “Signup Lead Form” tab. You will need to check these boxes:
Show lead form before results (as in modal popup)
This creates launches a popup modal that shows the lead form above the Results when the user gets to the results page.
Show results if lead is not entered
This allows users to see their results even if they choose to not enter their personal details and close the modal.
If you leave this unchecked then you can enter some user facing text in the “No lead header text” field, this is use for custom messages to explain you need an email address to show results.
Show No thanks to close
This is an optional feature that adds ‘No thanks’ underneath the submit button, this just closes the modal.
Show underneath results
This allows users to enter their details on the results page if they close the popup without entering them

There are two columns of identical input fields. The fields on the left are for the lead form on the popup, and the fields on the right are for the lead form underneath the results page. These can have different copy if you wish.

You can then add your copy into the following fields:
Title: This is the title at the top of the lead form
Lead form textText: this is a subheading beneath the title
Lead form Submitted button text: This is the text on the submit button
Submit Submitted lead thank you title: This will show beneath the results once they submit the form
Submit Submitted lead thank you text: This will show beneath the results once they submit the form

You will then need to tick activate which fields you want to appear on the form, and tick which of these fields are required. We recommend setting Name and Email as required fields.

You also need to tick whether you want add a consent checkbox. You can add the text for that checkbox underneathin “Field Name (Displayed)”. This input field can include basic HTML, which you can use if you want to add a link to a Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy page.

If you would like each lead to manually be sent to you via email, enter the email address and subject line. You can also set a restriction on duplicate leads being sent to you via email within a certain number of hours. This is set to 24 by default.

With all this filled out, the Email Capture form Lead Form will appear as a popup before the Results page, and will be embedded below the results page. The styling can be edited in “Test Guide Widget”the “Styling Editor” of that journey.

Step 2: Receive Leads Data

If you would like to receive each lead to your own company email inbox, you will need to upload a Lead Email Template. This is the template that will show how you receive the information. There are two three templates below you can use , one for Lead Forms with a comment field, and one without a comment field.to get you started, you can customise each template to match the lead form fields you are using, note make sure any custom variables match the custom field names being used.
Full field list of variables to use:

Step 3. Set Up the Results Email
If you would like to send an automated email to each lead with their your customer’s preezie Guided Journey results/recommended products, you can do this within the preezie system using a HTML template.

Custom Sendgrid Api Key: This allows the preezie system to send emails on your behalf.
Results email checkbox text: This allows you to have a separate checkbox for opting in to the results email, in addition to the marketing consent checkbox. This will show if you select “Show opt in checkbox for the email” instead of “Send to all leads”.
Results email Subject: This will be the subject line of the results email
Results email From address: This is the sender address of the results email. You must authorise sending from this address using SendGrid
Results email display Name: this is the sender name of the results email.
Results email Logo URL: This is your company logo. This will be populated into the results email HTML template.
Results email title: This is will show in the header of the email.
Results email text: This will show in the body of the email
Results email CTA description: This will show above the CTA button which links back to your website.
Results email CTA button text: This will show on the CTA button which links back to your website.
Results email CTA button URL: This is a link to a page on your website that you would like to direct customers to, such as a product collection page.
Set Up SendGrid API Key
In order to for preezie to automate a Results Email that looks like it is coming from your company, you will need to set up a SendGrid account and get a SendGrid API key. See our SendGrid API Key Integration Guide for more information.

Once these are filled out, you will need to click “Save”.
Upload a Results Email Template
Before a results email can be sent, you will need to upload a HTML template. Download one of the HTML files below.

This will save automatically, confirmed by a message in the lower right corner of the screen. You may now close the popup.
